DAZ open but not responding

Daz was working last night, I installed some body morphs this morning and went to laugh again.
It opens fine but I can't click on any of the UI and the only way to close it is to use task manager.
I did a fresh install of dim and daz after deleting the meta data but same problem. 
Checked antivirus, nothing. I can open other programs while daz is open without issue, restarted etc.

The only odd thing is the white bar at the top even when daz is selected.

    Have you tried hitting the esc key a few times, in case there is a dialogue box open but off screen?

    Good, though ti still leaves the question of what was off-sreen or otherwise hidden and why it was opening. Is Daz Studio set to load a default scene on startup?
