version 4.8 and PowerLoader content

I know to load StudioCF content with the Poser files, but what about the PowerLoader files? I am guessing they are not needed as I am assuming they don't provide anything since I believe "Extensible Parameters" (ExP) technology is no longer part of DS. But I figured I should check here first. Do I need them?

    Yes, they are still used - you need to install with DIM (or manually, but not with Daz Connect) for now, but as far as I know that's true of all ExP products. The PowerLoader tool and exP Generally are still supported in DS 4.8 and 4.9 (indeed, PowerLoader is DS-only - it's the dialogue that opens when you load an ExP figure to allow you to choose which morphs to load, the various PwrLdr zips contain the metadata for that so that you get a nice list with the product name and icon instead of just the product code.
