can I transfer or import daz3 saved files into daz4.8?

    There's no need to transfer or import — they're still DAZ|Studio files, so you just load them from your Content tab the same as any other DAZ|Studio file.

    One gotcha; remember that the .daz scene file format (you do mean a scene file, don't you?) splits a scene between the data files for the objects in the scene and the parameter settings for the scene. The /data/ folder matching the scene file must be in a content folder listed in your Content Directory Manager.

    ok thank you for taking the time to answer and yes I mean a scene file I should have been more clear on that,it's just that the files in daz3 are not showing up when I use the import function in daz4.8 so I'm doing something wrong I guess

    I'll try moving the saved scenes into another file and see if that works.
