dForce with Linday in an Urban Future
Finally!
Saturday, November 23rd 2024, I'll be demonstrating a whole bunch of techniques and settings that I use for Rosie's Classic Long Curly Hair with dForce for Genesis 8 Females, by Linday - along with looking at many other dForce Hair products by Linday, and why they are So Freaking Good!!!
I have been really eager to show the Urban Future series, by Stonemason. This is a series of really nice Sci-Fi rendering extravaganzas that spans nearly the entire historical timeline of Daz 3D and each of them exude the high-end quality of what we get when we buy a Stonemason kit.
Of course, I use a Lot of various animation products when I'm working with Linday's dForce hair. However, one particular artist has made a series of animation kits that work especially well for working out new techniques, settings, and experiments when it comes to dForce hair and clothing - Havanalibere. I'll go through why I feel that way as well as demonstrate how I use them for these purposes.
We'll also be exploring some cool new interiors that work great with the whole Urban Future atmosphere by a relatively new kid on the Daz 3D block - CyborgNinja
Exciting Stuff!

At this stage of the game, it's a little strange putting together a promo video, since so much of what we'll be seeing is absent from the video. But I wanted to get something out there to announce the show, so here it is:
dForce with Linday in an Urban Future
In making the music for the promo, I was going for a sort of a Dystopean City Adventure setting.
There were quite a few versions going, when the basis of this one started to evolve.
Layer upon layer, I just kept building over the initial flow - adding blips and bops and subtle underlying elements to the main beat and feel.
I'm actually really liking this one and looking forward to evolving this theme further in the future! :)

Promo 2
A Labor of Love!
It's truly incredible to look back on January 2025 and see how hard I've worked and how much sleep I've lost creating the content that it took to put this massive Creative Cart episode together - all of them, actually!
I'd like to go back and resource all of the materials I've created for each of the episodes and put together additional videos for each episode, as well as to create videos containing the content from all of them - perhaps also an Anniversary Edition video - stuff like that.
It's -7F where Slater and I live today, with a windchill dropping lower than -30F, so it was the perfect opportunity to begin this adventure with this most recent of the Creative Cart episodes - whose materials are still hot-off-the-press!
Please enjoy this fun video including several snippets from the show, the stitching together of two of the storylines hinted at in the two promo videos (Rosie's endless loop of genre teleportation - this time via The DigiVault's Project Eden), and some animation renders and music that were made specifically for Episode 010, but didn't make it into either the show or the promo videos.
This truly is a Labor of Love, and I have Paul Bussey at Digital Art Live to Thank for All of This!!!
Thank You Paul!!!
It would be My Honor for you to see it! :)
Watching it back again for about the twentieth time, I'm realizing that there's still a lot of animations I've rendered for this episode that aren't in this one. But I think all three videos for Episode 010 might include them all.
It was really cool having Rosie as the Star of the show for the first time ever! :)

Creative Cart : Episode 011 - Kibarreto and a Distant Future
Kibarreto has been designing and delivering a sleek and unique aesthetic for what a possible distant future could hold for us since just before I got into all of this, and these amazing products have been included in many of my very first orders from Daz 3D!
The visual language from the brilliant consoles right down to just the silhouettes of these assets are immediately recognizable as Kibarreto, so it's always been easy to watch out for the new additions to take us away on yet another imagined future of high adventure with the very coolest of looks!
I'm very proud and honored to be showcasing a vast majority of these creations in this episode of The Creative Cart as we delve ever more into fun-filled Daz Studio workflows and experiences.
With such a wealth of beautiful futuristic assets being born before our modern Iray-driven escapades in Daz Studio, I'd like to share how I utilize the original installations of these gems and deliver them in Iray form into the newer My Daz 3D Content Library in a fun and organized fashion, right along with Kibarreto's modern offerings, making it easier and faster to get at all of our Kibarreto with ease and speed.
We'll see how cohesive all of these kits have been since the very beginning, making the entire collection a tremendous value to collect and write stories around, render gorgeous images of, and animate with delightful appeal as a distant future unfolds before our very eyes!
Alien Worlds by Petipet
To give our stylish future a place to live, we'll be using Petipet's imaginative alien planet kits along with some of the animals that fit right in with the landscape - unrecognizable aliens that are versatile enough to be anything from a friendly benevolent encounter to the terror that causes us to take refuge in our energy-field-protected stations, towers, and vehicles.
Together, I think that Kibarretto's style and elegance and Petipet's unique look at life on planets beyond our own make for an exciting combination and another really cool Creative Cart experience!
