Hi all! :)
This is our new product: Shandi Hair for Genesis 3 Female(s), a twin braids hair style with kerchief and ties. Fun and timeless, is perfect for lots of scenes and characters: to get a sassy, sexy and casual or country look, useful for rocker girls, hipsters, and even for medieval maidens, action heroines, and whatever character you can imagine.
It has 20 hair dyes options, plus 14 kerchief fabrics for any occasion, and 9 ties colors to mix and match, and also includes 105 custom morphs. You can put it all back on one or both sides, move it with wind, adjust it to any elven or shaped ears using the partial custom morphs to adjust them perfectly, cover a little more with the kerchief, make the hair longer, shorter or wider... It also has some anime morphs that give a very fun look of braids in movement.
Here you can get it and watch the promos, hope you like it! :)

I haven't done my (daily) shopping round in the DAZ store yet today, but I'm a big fan of your products and I think you can expect to see a render here from me soon™
Oh that would be great! We will love to see that render! :)
I assume the kerchief doesn't come off (at least not without leaving a bald patch)?
Yes Richard, it's with the kerchief, like in Violet Hair or Sela Hair. It is the way that the hair can look more natural. With a morph of fitting it doesn't look so beautiful. This way is more natural :)
I thought that was probably the case, though it would always be nice to have sets of hairs (in a single big product or spread across several standard products) that were differnt stylings of the "same" hair - so a character could change haristyle over the day (tied up, under a scarf, uncvoered, loose) or over a longer period.
That is a very nice idea! :)
Now I have to buy the new hair to apologise for diverting your thread :) (Any excuse is a good excuse.)
LOL! Thank you very much! :D
It took a bit longer than excepted, and I'm still not happy with the render (a really weird shadow from the sunglasses and the wet/sweat effect applied to the skin looks odd) but the hair looks good.
Iray render. Only lightsource is the HDRI that I used.
OMG! This is so cool! Isidorn I'm Emma and I'm smiling, I love your render, and you did something very similar to something that will appear in one of our next product's promos that are in queue. When I saw it I said "he had a similar idea to mine", I love it!
"Great minds think alike" , right?
I'm glad you liked it and I'm looking forward to see what you come up with next.
That's right! :)
Very nice render, Isidorn. Emma and Jordi, love the hair. Unfortunately, it had to go into the wishlist for now. It will be a definite buy, though, after I survive the holidays and the braces my oldest gets put on this week. I love the hairs like this with the fitted headbands. I have both the Violet and the Sela and I love working with them and being able to change the fabric texture to match the outfit. I agree with Richard, though, a big product with one kerchief or headband with several styles of the same hair would be awesome. Not sure if it would be better to have it as one big product, though, or several hairstyles that go together and then have a bundle option for all of them. But I would definitely try to buy something like that.
Now that I think about this more as I write, I've decided I don't like Richard that much right now. I am having all of these visions of different renders with the same character in all these different scenes with the same kerchief with the same hair styled differently in each one and it isn't even a product yet.
Thank you so much, Richard, for torturing me. I'm off to see what I can do in my runtime.
Emma and Jordi, keep up the good work. I do really love the hair. I hope to acquire it very soon.
We love that you liked the hair, don't worry if it's for after holidays ;) . Anytime you have a render you can post it here too, we will love to see it :)
