Mirror, Mirror is a wall. Changed the wall using the Polished Aluminium shader to turn it into a mirror. This was 11 hours and it was only at 75% :)

Yes, I got her for $1.06 with the PC coupon. Great render! What is the dress and texture? It looks like actual fashion compared to most of the clothing textures I see here...
Love it! How long did that take to render?
Very nice render! I love the mirror idea!
I can't remember, I don't usually pay much attention or take notes :)
@Wonderland I found the settings in another thread :)
Render time was 11 hours; 71%; 500 iterations; CPU only. I stopped it as it was using up too many resources on the laptop and I was afraid it would crash and I would lose it. It was using 11.5 GB of my 16 GB of memory although with everything else I was doing task manager reported 15.5 GB being used and all four processor thread at 100% so I was probably using the swap file too :)
"So let me get this straight. You don't want to unmask, poison, skin, diassemble, break, fold, spindle or otherwise mutilate me?"
More in my Weird West sequence.
The tree was growing where they had put the book.
She was hanging from the old dead tree.
Young Maria reads the book she had found in the roots of the dying witch tree.
Abuela tells Maria to stay away from the witch tree, which, naturally, piques her interest.
Quechin writes the book, remembering the words of his mother in their speech forbidden by papa and the angry ones in black. His dreams speak through him.
Maria lays back with her lover, both of them gasping, forbidden love in the witch tree's shadow.
Maria is puzzling out the words of the ancient book.
Maria's grave is forgotten, burning at the bottom of an empty sea under the swelling corpse of the sun.
An ancestor of the tree is trampled down by the large beast, fleeing something huge and fanged. The tree's seeds grow in bloodied soil.
The noose around her neck is impossibly tight, choking her. But the noose is a flicker.
There is no noose, there are no people, just small things clattering about under a strange metal tower.
There is no noose, everything is burning.
She is a moment in a storm of time.
Maria is remembering awakening.
Maria is awakening.
Maria is being born.
Maria is dying.
Always and never.
...I would have easily been into swap mode with that size of a render file. Would have been more like 14 hours for my system.
Hanna 2
Special thanks to Jack Tomlin - all the lighting in the scene comes preloaded with his set

Very nice pose and render. I could do that once. LOL, really.
Thank you very much!
Testing the new Cathy hair, I think it is going to become one of my favorites.
Michael came in and took the acoustic down and played a few bars.
Aiko 7 stretching, testing the iradiance light set : )
Dreamy!!!
Trying out Mayuree for Mei Lin 6, as well as Slosh's UHT2 shaders, and my Dream Home set retextured for Iray.
Just a bit of fun with the DAZ Seal, the mane from Millenium Big Cat LE, Versatile Terrain/Canyon Terrain, Ocean Wide/Rough Ocean and an HDRI sky I did in Bryce.
Sea Lions
FUNNY! I love the water! That's very cool
Wonder what she said?
Niiiice
Thank you! :D Does it make you thirsty? heheh I don't drink but dang, the entire time I was creating that image it made me crave some drinks. lol
Made With:
Saffron for G3F
Ades Hair with fit morphs for G3F
I love goth chicks; have since my mid-teens. When I saw this new character at Rendo, I didn't hesitate to buy a copy. She is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. For a limited time, her corset and panties are included.
For my first project with her, I decided what better way to show her off than with a pinup. To compliment her look, I used 3-point lighting with the fill light on the ground to add an eerie vibe to her pose and accentuate her curves. Since goths tend to be fond of crimson, I set the background to dark red, and used DoF to keep her the center of attention.
Malachai. G3M.
Oh wow - lovely lighting! That bloom is a nice touch too! :)
...mmmmm, tasty.
The latest. Urban Sprawl 3, the bus from US3, and Teen Justine. The scene is the Iray Building 1 with the NightLights for Iray untouched.
Waiting
...nicely done.
...there is reason why I have not been posting anything here save for character proofs as my system just does not have enough physical memory to support Iray rendering in CPU mode without going into swap mode. My system has 12 GB of memory of which 1.3 are taken by Windows and system utilities leaving me with about 10.7 GB of free memory.
When the programme and scenefile take up more than 6 GB of memory, that doesn't leave a lot for the rendering process.. For one scene, after opening up Task Manager, I noticed that the Daz programme and scenefile left me with 3.8 GB for the actual rendering which is why the process took more than a night to render sa for a buk of the time it was in swap mode.
With Reality/Lux I could close both the scenefile and programme once the scene was submitted to Lux, freeing up nearly 7 GB of memory.
That last render is showing 1.5 GB of memory and it took 15 hrs to render at CPU only (I also had Bryce running in the background :) ) I have had my 16 GB of memory maxed out at times too but not too often. I also have a memory scrubber which I sometimes use, when I remember, if the memory is maxed out. Sometimes it helps and other times it doesn't.
