What does the gown look like for Mec4D Chinese Traditional Outfit?

I'm looking for a gown like the Angelic Dynamic Gown: http://www.daz3d.com/angelic-dynamic-bundle-for-v4-and-m4

A gown/robe that does not conform so much to the body. The Mec4D Chinese Traditional Outfit Genesis 2 Male(s) look likes it could be the one but I don't know what it looks like under that vest. Can someone load a screenshot if you have it? https://www.daz3d.com/mec4d-chinese-traditional-outfit-genesis-2-male-s

It would be much appreciated. Thanx in advance!

This is a one piece outfit. The vest is part of the gown, so there is no "under the vest". It is just one layer of polygons.

But that would mean that you can load a different shader for the outfit and the vest part should be "gone"

Yes, except that some of the vest detail is modelled as part of the mesh. See promo image 2. Maybe the LD version would work. I'll have a look at the mesh when I get home.

  • Attached is a quick render of the oufit with a fabric shader applied. As you can see the structure of the vest is still visible

Ah. Too slow. But I did one too, with a plain cloth shader and the button/loops turned off via opacity. That's as minimal as it gets with this one.

    Ciao

Yeah, I've found Mec4D's stuff are gorgeous models as presented, but they're very "personal custimizing" unfriendly.

  • Thanks all, I appreciate the responses. Looks like the simple robe and gown has not been made yet for Genesis. Dynamic cloth items seems to be my best bet but i don't like the post work when using it.

how about the lower part of this one http://www.daz3d.com/royal-elf-for-genesis, I found that rather versatile

  • Those are all good choices but all of those actually conform to the body too much. Using autofit and choosing unsupportted helps a little but still too tight on the upperbody. I need something less confrming. The monks robe is a descent choce.

Also some of the newer dresses- i feel i may be able to get the look I want through some of the added adjustments that come with the dresses. The morphing fantasy dress is great but even with the adjustments it's a bit tricky to get the look I want (which is just a drap).

I think the old hag robe may be more of what i'm looking for. I'll just have to get rid of the hood. I'm waiting for a sale to pick it up.
