Hide character Genesis 9

Why aren't G9's head items hidden when the character is hidden?
They are not even hidden when done individually to each of them.

    Those are separate objects parented to G9. To hide G9 and all parented irems, hold the Ctrl key when clicking the eye icon in the Scene pane to hide G9.
