This happened to me last time too. I ordered 6 gift cards and my email is once again flooded with too many gift cards. FIFTY ONE BOGUS. Last time support had me test a few, some are for the Because I Said So! contest so obviously I don't want to click/redeem/test them unless Support is working with me. Since last time the extra were bogus, I am assuming they are this time, too.
Support is really good to send me the codes that work, so that's not a problem (unless it's a weekend) but I'm wondering if anyone else got flooded with bad gift card codes? There was a cloud fare/Atlanta failure to connect to the DAZ site that came up after I ordered, about an hour ago.

What is a gift certificate?
I didn't get flooded with them, but I did get one bad one and one good one. Which, I gather, is par for the course and has been for a while. I think I've only bought three in the past year or two, and all of them did that.

Ohhh, sorry. I thought it was something different because the 8 threw me off. I've never really been able to afford more than one at a time so I didn't even consider it o.o
I can say that I've bought 3 over the past week or so and each time I only received one. I feel like I read earlier that someone ordered 1 and got 8 today, unless I totally imagined that. (Fine Print thread or something similar maybe?)
LOL, I mostly bought in $5's for the contest I'm running. (and got them for slightly over $4)
OH hahaha sorry I'm full of misunderstandings today. Everyone's been talking about how to maximise with $222 or whatever it was for the double discount, so I was thinking 8 of those and...
OMGosh...with about 150 of us chipping in, maybe!
Right xD That's why I was thinking "okay I know I'm poor, but ... oh well it's probably rude to question that other people spend that much maybe it's just savings being used to stock up for a year while there's a discount..."

I usually get two when I buy one, and it is always the second one that works. If I remember correctly, there may have been one time when I only got one. :)
If I had only gotten double, that would be 16...don't know how 8 turned into 59 but when I opened my email it reminded me of the last time, when my phone was alerting me to emails and it was ping...ping...ping...ping...ping...ping...ping...ping... Can you imagine if it had done that this time about 60 times? (which, come to think of it my phone only pinged once.) So let's see, 8 into 59 means I got 7 for each one!
I did ask Support to talk to the web team, and not limit the focus on sending me my codes.
If all 59 turn out to be valid, can I get one? :)))))))))))
I got a GC yesterday, and only got one code, however in the past I have been set multiple codes (of which only one worked), but nowhere near as many as 59!

i actually contacted support about this a while back, and the reply said they were aware of the problem and are working on it.
Of course, it has been happening for ages - i can recall more than six months ago it first happening for me.
Interesting. I buy a fair number of gift cards, almost always at a discount. I've never got more than 1 notification and code.
i've gotten two bogus along with one valid before.
