Question about current Punch sale

I'm not that familiar with the punch sales here plus part of the text is white print on a snow background (something that makes me crazy in subtitling on films). Here's the gist of what I understand. You buy some of the new items from the special catagory to get punches. The punches add up to a discount that can and must be used within the week. From what I gather, the Featured Items supposedly give a discount percentage amount based on the year they were released. When I cart a featured item, I'm not seeing a discount that matches the amount (example a 70% off item shows only as subtracting only about 30% (and I'm a current PC platinum club member). Is the Featured Item discount based off of the punch discount? Would I need to get a certain number of punch items to get it that Feature Item price? I've currently got punch items (from the list) in my cart and am seeing no change in price of the Featured Item. Thanks again for any help in advance..

    The featured item discount is based on the number of punches you have, yes. There's a base discount depending on the year it was released, and each punch increases that discount.

    Thank you very much Leana. That is very helpful. I don't think I'll be doing much with the sale as the 5 punches would make more sense if the Feature Item catagory lasted all week rather than daily.

    Other than the 2015 featured items, (so thus, any of the 2014 or older categories) the products stay in therre for 3 days.  So each day some new one rotate in, and ones that have been there for 3 days rotate out.
