Is there anything I can use for an underwater scene?

I am trying to do a scene where a diver is holding onto something laying on the seabed while dealing with a vacumn from a vent under an oil rig. I wanted it to look old and like its been there for a while and covered in barnicles etc but I cannot really find a lot although this would have been perfect: http://www.daz3d.com/underwater-relics-shaders but they are not props but are shaders :( does anyone know where I can find props like that in the link? free or otherwise.

Also please don't recommend any backgrounds. I have those thanks.

What about big rocks?? or are you wanting something more man made but old correded ,could use those shaders to pretty much make anything look like it's been there awhile ......hmmm now I've got to Google  underwater oil rigs ........see what kind of terrain is usually around them ........

Okay I found this  http://www.daz3d.com/rubble-2-modern-ruins  ; ,and if you get the shaders and put them on it ,not barnicles but .......might be workable

Have a look at this one it's a bundle so made up of smaller packs. One of which may suitable or all of them depending on your budget.

I don't get it though why are they called shaders? shouldn't it be called textures?

  • A texture is an image file like a .jpg, a shader in this context is generally a full material setup that contains numerous textures like diffuse, bump, specular texture maps and settings and can be applied to any surface.

Ha that's what I get for wandering around looking and not refreshing ,Design Anvil ,beat me to the Gardens of Poseiden that is full of all kinds of goodies. I love shaders or shader presets ,changes the look of all kinds of stuff.

The above mentioned shaders would absolutely work on whatever it is you want to put in the scene.  I know its confusing.  Textures are usually for a specific item, shaders will work on any item if that helps any.  You couldn't take a texture made for say Joe's Battle Armour and use it anything but that.  But you can use Joe's metal shaders on anything including the battle armour (There is no Joe's battle armour just making up an example)
