Looking for a Thylacine tiger/wolf

as the title says I'm looking for a Thylacine tiger/wolf model for a new project only problem is I have no idea where to even look for one and if possible having a daz rigging would be great but not a deal breaker, I did see an art post with one but I think they made it themselves

so as always I thank you all in advance for any help you can provide me

There should be one at Content Paradise... I got it free a while ago, but that offer is long gone... It's for Poser, so it will probably work with some texture tweaking, and it's about medium quality for 2006-2007.

I looked it up... It's a $1.99 and the textures are a bit off.

EDITED- Dinoraul did not make one.  But there might still be a morph for the Mildog at Renderosity's free stuff area... It may have been by ThePhilosophersEgg.

  • Alessandro has an image of one posted in his gallery, so maybe he is working on making one: http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/images/82206/

  • actually Alessandro confirmed he is planning on doing some native animals from my Tasmania including the Tasmanian Devil and Tasmanian Tiger but don't know when they'll come about as he has several projects planned working on

  • Thylacine t's on final stages, I think I'll be able to hand it over to DAZ in about 7-10 days... Cheers

Tasmanian Tiger - is good name-wise, but not a feline. :(

    They look cute though.

  • Oooh I can't wait to buy this. You did an amazing job. I looks like the pictures captured in 1906. I had to Wiki this animal because I didn't even know it existed at all.

My 5 year old was so excited today when I showed her this. She screamed, "Its a Tasmanian Tiger Mom! You have GOT to get that for me!"  So I know what is going in my cart. She has been a bit obsessed with them for the past year. Thank you so much!

There's even some b/w movie from 1933 showing the (probably) last one alive, see

    (long version) and

(part of the same movie, but I think some image is less cropped at the top, not sure though).

Little by little I'm going to produce all the australian megafauna: I've bought some great books about it, and I know personally the author of some of those so she can check my work and give me hints as well :)

Yes, that IIRC it's really the last known Thylacine, held captive in the Hobart zoo in the 30's.

Tasmanian Devil is under production, should be ready in 3-4 weeks, here a little teaser with the rough shape, still due to several changes.

You're welcome: at the end the best reward for me it's to hear this stories, especially if I can make a little kid smile. Hugs to your beautiful daughter!

There was a project in Australia a few years ago to bring the Thylacine back, Jurassic Park-style, but I don't know what happened to it.
