DIM failing to reinstall 3DU Skye products after uninstall

I've had to uninstall and reinstall my DAZ/DIM library today and everything besides five of the seven 3DU Skye products I have installed fine.  These five files wouldn't reinstall, even after downloading again.

The only thing I can think of that could somehow affect this is that 3DU files are the only DAZ/Poser content I've ever seen that have been encrypted.*  (These show as green names in most versions of Windows.)  They (and only they) usually give me trouble when I backup runtimes onto (or restore from) another computer.  No issue today with any of my many other 3DU products, however and today's work didn't involve any manual moving of files.

...

Looked at my runtime, some files seem to still exist after the uninstall.  I rooted out all the related files with a file search and deleted them...now reinstall worked.

I'll post this for reference now that I worked out the problem.  I do suspect this is related to the file encryption.*

...

Okay...digging further into internet land, the encryption issue is a problem caused by tags within ZIP files created on Mac OS (UNIX) computers (as I believe 3DU uses, according to a recent photo of Steve's office) and opened on Windows (FAT/NTFS) computers.  They are not actually encrypted; it's a translation failure.
