Does Daz To Unity Newest version work well and Have Ability to make Skin Shiny?

Does it work with Unity 2022? And also in previous versions i tried, you could never create shininess in the skin more than a tiny bit. Has that changed?

Cause sometimes some people have hydrated skin or wear cremes or moisturizers, and you want to to recreate that. Last Official Daz to unity Bridge the skin was to dry. and i coudnt up the smothness or what was called , i think it was called something else not smoothness. anyways, also not just the skin even for cloth you couldnt do it. I use HDRP

PS I've been using Unofficial DTU but the HDRP mode of Unofficial DTU doesn't work anymore in Unity 2022, even with the SkinUber Assigned to the Profiles, skin is pink/red. So it's time to switch to Official one i guess

Hello i'm back. I installed it and tried it. It's Awesome. Ok so my question is i'm planning to make films with DTU Daz characters but as you know everything from daz( clothes , hairs, rings) is super high poly. How can i make scenes that won't slow down my whole computer but yet that i can use Environments like cities and Gaia Terrain thing? Is it possible. How abougt  a scene for example Boxing with a crowd of people watching. That would take like 2  full high polygon( high daz polygon characters since the hairs and clothes are high polygons always)  Plus like say 16 low poly audience people.  or20. I have a Pack Civilians, they are not necesarily that low poly, .

It seems hard using Even 2 Full polygon high quality Daz people and then apart from that put them in great Environments or Gaia terrain. And i'm not even doing games, now i'm doing films( amateur films).

    Anyone have any tips?

Polyfew seem to be a good lod reducer on the asset store. It preserves morph data in the lod object. Be careful with hair assets they are generally way too high poly count.

Thanks for the Tips, i had/hav other Simplification tools for Unity but they destroy the Characters Morphs so no more Smiles, Anger, Any Emotions. plus no more Speech Lipsynch. So you're saying this one doesn't destroy your morphs to do facial morphs and for lypsynch? But the Decimation for the Figure using Daz Decimator is good The Genesis Figure is not really the problem(plus it keeps your morphs), i mainly need decimation for the rest of the stuff...the clothes and hair which is heavy and Daz decimator destroys it badly if i decimate it low. Would i be able to decimate specific items in the figure( clothes, jewelry, hair) with this product?

Poly few seem to save the morph data with the model data, so it's been working for me. Otherwise, with other tools if you keep the original object in yuor scene (disabled), then that can worked too,

I'm able to get animatable swappable clothes + morphs + Lod all working nicely together, though it can be quite tricky to get it to work. I'll try to do a tutorial at some point. I tried Daz decimator, it messes up the UV's more often than not, it's not a good tool.
