DAZ Studio main window won't load

I'm running the latest version 4.22.0.1 The splash screen starts up like normal but the main window never loads. The program is still open and if I hover over the button in the taskbar, I see a strange preview that looks like a blank dialog box. I'm able to press f2/f3 and ctrl+n to bring up the preferences window as well as the new scene window. Loading a recently saved scene appears to work but the main window never loads so I don't know if it's actually loading it or not. I've even tried sending an OBJ from zbrush. It opens the splash screen and the dialog box for importing a new object appears, but the main window never appears. Exiting the program prompts for a save. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling as well as deleted the info in %appdata%. Strangely, my public beta version works fine.

(FIX) I fixed it by hovering over the taskbar DAZ button until the little preview came up, then right click and select Maximize. I have no idea what I did that made this step necessary.

If that had failed, and you have multiple displays, it might hae been on the wrong  screen in which case http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/specific_ui/screen_size_fhd/start would have been helpful.

Success! I can't believe it but I tried the Google AI and this worked.

OMG, this saved me---f2/f3 and Ctrl/N... I tried everything, including restoring a previous update in Windows, and still couldn't get the DS window to pop up!!! And, of course, right-click and Maximizing. I'm such a noob!
