Victoria and G3F came out at the end of June. It's only just the beginning of November and G3F seems to have hit the ground running. Quickest adoption rate I've seen since Genesis launched. And yeah, an awful lot of the characters I see do seem to be V7 clones, but I suspect that there won't be any shortage of cutie-pie characters once people figure out how to morph the face without messing up the facial rig for expressions.

I was about to post a very similar thing...

One potential reason for all the characters being so tall is that the base is. I'm actually working on a short (and saccharine) character morph currently and my original method of getting her short meant that every hair would have needed a custom morph to not look terrible (I've since figured out a pretty nice workaround using scaling),

Simply put the way morph projection works doesn't mesh well with big changes to height.

You'll notice a lot of hairs coming out with a height morph built in. I usually end up shortening my characters, using that.

That said I expect there will be a bump in cute and toony characters when someone along the lines of an Aiko or the Girl comes out.

Hmm let us know when its out. :)

Pfft. I have it. Not a great use, but I want to produce a nice manga scene set in the kitchen with a cat - need a cat first, I saw something similar to what I wanted, and will use it as a guide, as not tried manga before (well other than one figure).

I'm liking it btw; just wish could dial the head in various amounts.
