Having problem with forum mails.

Hello!

I have an ongoing problem with the forum. I get mails when there are people replying in threads I follow, but these days each of these mails just send me to my account instead of any forum threads. So I have no idea what has been said, by whom and where.

It would be much better if the mail could include the posted reply in the thread than just a link, which doesn't even work.

    You have to be logged into the forum for them to work.

    Don't forget, many people here — I'm one of them — are finding themselves silently logged out at random intervals, I've found that if I click on an e-mail link and I've been logged out since the last time I looked at a new forum page, I get the Account page as well. The only thing that lets me see those linked posts is selecting a new forum page from an existing displayed forum page; that gives me the "signing you in" message and everything works again.

    Who wrote this forum software, AOL?
