I broke down and bought Harry yesterday since he was on sale.  And I had points to use as well.  I also have the daz2 horse and the charger horse.  Haven't had a chance to try any of them but you guys totally sold me on him.

I have DH2 as well, and tried some of the DH2 poses on Harry - sorry they don't work.  Harry has one less or one more bone in his spine and he completely warps from the abdomen on back.

This link will explain the bone structure to you more... http://www.cwrw3d.com/blog/harry-vs-the-dh2-a-head-on-comparison

Haven't been in the forums for a while... sorry for the late response.  Thanks for the link - I had read that article, which gave me more reasons to buy Harry.  Having fetlocks was another reason why I like Harry.  Harry also has the Friesian breed - my favorite horse by the way.

I also wanted to pick up another pose pack and the CWRW Main & Tail, both of which are on sale right now.  I had to hold off because Hivewire had been hacked recently.  It's been days and the site still isn't right yet.

Yes, please be patient,  the hack was pretty bad and they are working around the clock to get things up and running again.

  • The store is now back (not all the images), not the forums yet. Sale will be extended. .

Thanks for the heads up Alisa...

  • You're welcome!  Forums should be back soon!  Sale extended a week :)

Was there an email or announcement somewhere that explained what happened? If so, I haven't received anything.

I don't do facebook normally but I did pop over and have a look when someone told me what had happened. Really sorry to hear it.

  • Thanks :)

I don't do FaceBook ,any other way to find out what happened??

    Link?

  • I am hesitant to post the announcement as I'm not sure not sure that the mods would appreciate that.  Linking, either - so to play it safe just search for

    hivewire3d facebook

It's the first thing that comes up in Google search

If you don't want to go to the Facebook site (I know many people don't) - please pm me and I'll be more than happy to help.

Do be aware that, even if you don't"Do Facebook" but just visit to read one post, Facebook will leave cookies on your system, including tracking cookies.

Apparently HW forums were hacked into by one of the Islamic militant groups who then used them to post fundamentalist Islamic propaganda.

Yup, that's what Chris wrote me and told me himself.  It's a total mess but they are working hard to restore first the store and then the forums.  They have the forums in private testing right now so they are going to come back on line when they are connected back to a valid URL address to access them again!

The store seems to be back and functional.

Anyone who doesn't want to go to FB (and you should be able to set your browser not to allow them to put cookies on your computer), pm me your email addy & I'll keep you updated when major posts are made

Slight correction - an Islamic miltant SUPPORTING group.  It was not the only site hit.  The propoganda image was put in that had malicious code that wiped out the site.  Working hard to get as much back as possible.

Yes, it is :).  Still things on the admin side we're working on and filling in missing store images and occasional products

To quote from yesterday concerning forums "We're not having the good fortune of getting it all set up correctly as we'd like to have it. So we'll be getting more input this evening and vetting our options. "  So forums are still on hold - please be patient while we work through this.  We'll keep people posted via FB when we've figured out the best options.  Also will be sending email and newsletter next week.

Big hugs to the Hive team.  They are all in my thoughts and prayers for patience and perseverance through this rough time!

  • Thanks, Wolffie!

I am so sorry to hear this.  I just recently found your site and have found your products to be lovely.  Hope you guys (and gals) get it sorted quickly with a minimum of damage!

  • Thank you, Sonja!
