Depends on your system, and the resolution you want the image at.
I'd take a guess at 10 to 15 minutes at the resolution of the image on my system. It's a guess though and could be significantly off.
EDIT
I'm curious, so going to render something with a similar number of items and with a similar camera angle, there will be aspects I wont have got right.
With low render settings, 15 minutes, I'd guess. Using Advanced settings, probably 2 hours at least. :-)
At 750x1150, I could get that image in 10 minutes or less. At 3000x 4000 maybe an hour.
Hi! Thanks for the quick answer. Which pc I need to render that with advanced settings and wait just 15 or 30 min? Which pc do you have guys? Thanks
Probably one like the Pentagon's.
I'm joking. I hear the video card really makes a difference, too. If you have something like the Titan (isn't that what SickleYield has?), it'd probably do it.
Any modern Nvidia card with 4 or more GB would take from about 10 minutes to an hour to do something like that...provided all the surdaces were Iray materials and the lighting was correctly set up.
With the shadow intensity of the render, I'd say it was an Iray sun/sky for lighting, which is probably the fastest way to render in Iray.
Months maybe a year or more... First I'd have to develope an interest in rendering people, then I'd have to learn a little more about iRay... About two months more for that, then I'd take a month to find myself... I'd probably hitchhike across Europe dressed as a medieval monk... Probably a Franciscan... Along the way I'd join a Turkish circus and end up becoming involved in an international jewel heist for which I'd be framed (I'm more of a chocolate heist person)... So I'd flee to the south of Spain to figure out who framed me and hide out until I solved the case, then once that was all done with and I'd cleared my good name... Uh... My name... I'd head back home and relearn everything I'd forgotten and then when I was all done, I'd slip on a loose step and fall down into the basement and get amnesia, which although it would only be temporary, I'd have get back to remembering who I was and then I'd realize I actually messed up my solving of the jewel heist and realize it was my arch nemesis Mr. Foooooooo... Which isn't his real name, but that all I got when I asked him who he was right before he fell out a window... It was a long way down to the ocean and there were actually a lot more Os in that... But after tracking down Mr. Fooooooo, I'd confront him atop an abandoned castle in southern France or maybe Transylvania... Possibly Pennsylvania... It depends on the budget, but after a scuffle his mask would fall off and I'd find out she was actually my old fencing teacher Mr. Palmer, and that it turned out previously he was saying "My Foot!" because he was slipping and not "Mr. Fooooooo"... Did I mention he also had a sex change since I last saw him? Well, regardless of that it turns out he always hated me since I poke out her/his left eye with my foil... Anyway he eventually would fall off a ledge to his apparent death and I'd clear the poor bastard who ended up going away for his crime, but since Gaston was a mime, he lasted all of twelve minutes in jail before someone offed him, so it would more or less posthumously, so after a short while of wrestling with my guilt I'd realize I really hate mimes and besides Gaston was known pig molester, so it really was okay that he ended up the way he did... After all that I'd go back home again and spend about two weeks re familiarizing myself with DAZ Studio and then when I was finally ready I'd start the render and about an hour or two after I started it, thats probably what it would look like, only slightly grainier because I didn't set something up properly.
Thats just a guess though.
It would take about the same amount of time as reading McGyver's excellent, through verbose, post.
I think there might actually be a castle or two in Pennsylania. Just saying.....
Then Pennsylvania it is!
what hair is this ?
hey Mcgyver
love your lil stories
are you creating e-books ?
1-2 minutes and in higher render size.
Would take my system, approx 30 - 45 minutes, cpu only.
