The wraps are skin texture, yes...except one extra wrap to bridge the chest.
...and no..I did not even know of that mummies alive thing, I thought I was being clever with the name :(
I hope you won't get into any troubles regarding trademarks there!
Nerfertine from Mummies Alive - She was a kick-ass female character, and your Nefertine certainly would have top chances to be 'casted' if they would ever do a CGI version.
Well, Nefertiti is a historical figure, so you have some leeway.
And the Mummies Alive character was different in several key respects -- white hair, never wrappings over her face, and she turned into a Bast thing.
