HD Morphs and Zbrush

Hi All,

This might be a question that gets asked often, but ive done a quick check and can only find some answers for older versions of DS

Im wanting to create HD morphs by sending the geometry to zbrush, subdividing, creating my morphs, and then sending it back to DZ - and wanting those morphs to work when the original geometry is then subdivided in DS.

Is this possible?

No. You would have to create a normal map and apply that to genesis.

You would "bake" the morph to a normal map of your base mesh while in Zbrush.  That normal map could then be applied as a texture in your material settings in DAZ Studio.  The resulting morph would then be visible in the subdivided figure, but it is only intended for morphs that do not extend very far from the original surface.  Larger displacements are best handled using Morph Loader Pro.
