How to merge M4 and V4 morphs and UVs?

I remember that there used to be a way to merge the UVs and morphs of M4 and V4.. The original post seems to have gone away with the old forum, and I cannot find this information anywhere else. I remember it being a process involving copying files from one of M4's directories to V4's corresponding directory. Does anyone remember? I am going to document this so I don't forget, but right now I'm drawing a blank.
Thanks so much,
JB

I do not know about anyone else, but I have no idea what you mean by merging M4 and V4 UV set, or are you refering to using M4's UV's on V4 and vice versa. This is doable as the two figures are based off the same mesh.
Yes, being able to use the UVs on each other, and the morphs. I imagine the process is the same or similar for both.
Daz Studio or Poser?

That blog really needs an update. It's much easier if you're using DAZ Studio:
Let's say you want V4's UVs on M4, so:
1) first ensure you have both M4 and V4 installed
2) load M4, and make sure it's selected
3) click the Load UV Set command under Edit -> Figure -> Geometry
4) a file dialog pops up, locate and open V4's mesh (..\Runtime\Geometries\DAZPeople)
5) give the UV set any name you like
6) go to the Surfaces tab, select all surfaces, locate the UV Set parameter and there you should find the UV set you just loaded
Did this help?
What app are you using? If you are using Poser, which version?
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kerya and araneldon. icprncss, I am using Poser Pro Game Dev, but plan to upgrade to Poser Pro 2016. I also use DS3 Advanced and DS4.8 Pro. The method I remember I first saw in DS3.
