DAZ Studio and Lightwave?

The $700 crossgrade offer to Lightwave 2015 is back, and I'm thinking about it. My main interest right now is to use as it as way to integrate Vue into my workflow better (so I might be looking at a Vue Infinite to Vue xStream crossgrrade as well). So, set the figures up, and maybe architecture, then export out and load in Lightwave, and then integrate Vue there. May use it for modeling later on -- main plus there for me is learning on something industry standard. So I am mainly looking for feedback on using Lightwave as a place to merge DAZ Studio and Vue.
