Vintage Sci Fi Car Promos

Really like the concept of the car, quite fun!  I do have a question about the promo art however. Several look like they are unfinished Iray renders, with the splotchy, grainy sections. Look at the third thumbnail, which shows it best. (also apparent in the second one.)  So, is the finish on the car smooth and gleamy, or does it throw areas like that? I'm assuming it's the render. Since it can't be returned, I want to know before buying it.

    Looks intentional to me - the "grainy" look of an unfinished Iray render looks like a harsher grain than that, to me, and appears in shadowed AO affected regions most near the end of a render.

    Looking at it, in one of the promos, the main portion of the grainy area is rounded, almost like a ball, like it's the ball's reflection. Very puzzling. Anyway, thanks for your input Valandar smiley

    I've been finding that, especially with stylised textures, Iray will produce a lot of grainy appearance (this gradually gets refined, but will not necessarily be completely erased). I often have to manually set it to increase the rendering length for better quality.
