Stonemason Section 04 missing folder ?

I didn't see other mention of this, so I'm posting. When I load Section 04, or 05 or 06, I get an error msg saying that My Library/Resource/ (something or other _a.jpg) is missing.
There's no folder in the download called My Library/Resource, and no jpg by the name that's being called (sorry to have forgotten the name, but it ends in _a.jpg.)
Also, one of the doors has a slider labeled Open/Close, but the other door just says Y Translate. Not a functional problem, just an unusual detail flaw.
Anyone else seeing this?

Just started all three with no error messages. Windows 7 and the latest DAZ Sudio in Iray and 3Delight.
Good news. Time to redownload, I guess.
Odd that the call was for a new My Library folder called Resource, which I've never had in My Library.
Loads fine for me as well.
Well, as it turns out, I have to guess that this is another "only works in 4.8" issue.
Neither 4.6 nor 4.7 contain a folder called "My Library/resources," and that's what the call is looking for. I've never had a "resources" folder in My Library, and I don't see one in any of the download files. Normally, that means something's been miscoded, or not updated from wop files, and I just fix that and all is well. As other users aren't finding this issue, I'm at a loss.
I can also only guess that it's not a super critical issue, and that "skipping" the brushed_a.jpg, (which isn't in the download files I'm getting,) doesn't have a huge bearing on the loaded model textures.
Stonemason's work is in a class by itself, of course, and I've got way many of his sets, all genre-defining for graphic arts. So, what I do get, sans "brushed_a.jpg" looks amazing. There's just no way to know what gets lost when that texture doesn't get loaded. I still can't even find the jpg, itself, which suggests that another, prior Stonemason model might be required?, but the promo doesn't say that. Or, maybe an Nvidia Iray file? As the screenshot shows, I'm loading the 3Delight version, not the Iray, so why an Iray related file would be called is unclear.
Secondary issues, of course, relate to the leap to the "4.8 required" thing. It's on most models in the store, and yet I'm pretty sure that some of those, like AoA Graphics Arts Camera, which does now say that 4.8 is the recommendation, doesn't even work in 4.7! Still waiting, (a year, now?) on a support ticket fix for that one. It's why I stick with 4.6 most of the time. Go figure.
Appreciating the advances with each new Studio version, it still seems reasonable to have greater clarity in the promo info, about which studio version is minimally, actually, required. It's just good customer service.
I believe, but am not 100% sure, that folder is an Iray related item. Which probably means it won't show up unless you are installing the 64 bit version of 4.8.
But, it's an image file...which means it's being used as part of a texture (specifically a bump map...), somewhere...and that doesn't mean it HAS to be part of the Iray material, even if it is in an Iray specific folder. Why there's a separate folder for these images, I have no idea...one of the devs could possibly answer that...
Thanks, mjc1016,
I did kick it over to a support-ticket, to see if they can clarify.
I don't have a Resource folder in My Library either and it works. I tried a search for _a.jpg but nothing was found either.
Thanks, Fishtales,
How weird. I did get support feedback. They said the missing jpg is part of the 4.8 Iray installation. Since I can't use that version without losing functionality on products that are important for the renders I'm into these days, I'll try a temporary install of 4.8, finding and pulling the bump jpg, and then locating it somewhere I can access, and modifying the duf to call it there, instead.
I don't see how Section 04 has 2 versions, 3Delight & Iray, and yet an Iray texture file is still needed for the 3Delight version. Sounds buggy to me.
What products lose functionality in 4.8?
And no, it does not seem buggy...why use a different bump map for each renderer? Doing that seems like unnecessary bloat to me...
I'm not buying the support answer. My Section04 zip has both Iray and 3Delight prop .duf files. The textures folder is just .jpg files. The data folder contains both Iray and 3Delight UVs for everything. As Fishtales said, there is no "Resource" folder in the zip. The product does not have separate installs for Iray and 3Delight, only a "Section04" and a "Section04 OBJ" install. To reiterate Fishtales, there are no - or _ anything files in the textures. All texture files have this format: sf4Console03.jpg, sf4ConsoleScreens.jpg, etc
@mjc1016: It might be best to hold opinons about the product until you have it, or know what's really going on in the OP's case. Textures are typically in their own folder, usually called . . . . Textures.
When you bring the product into Studio, you select either the 3Delight or Iray version. It shows under Props.
I had the same problem on another item (no, I can't remember which one)...and yes, the 3DL material was calling the same map as the Iray material, except it was the bump for the carbon fiber. I copied the resource folder from my 64 bit windows install to the same location on my 32 bit install (Linux/WINE) and that solved it. So, yes, the material presets can use the texture files for the 'other' renderer.
And yes, it's unlikely to be noticed on a 64 bit Studio install, because the Iray folder will be installed. On 32 bit it won't...and those image files in the resource folder aren't likely to be redistributable, so they'll still be in that folder and not the Textures folder, when a preset is made using one of them.
i suspect the texture call is for one of the Iray shaders,,another recent set of mine had this issue also where users hadn't downloaded the iray shaders, so moving forward I'll just use my own maps so people dont get this error
It mostly crops up with either pre-Iray versions or the 32 bit only.
The item I had the problem with wasn't one of yours, that much I remember...but now that I transfered the folder, it doesn't crop up, so I can't figure out which one it was.
yea I didn't know it was 64bit only, but I've had a couple other people not have the shaders installed(even Daz QA) so it's best to just avoid using the maps that come with them
