What can I do with this?
in The Commons
Hi all,
So I really want to use some scenes I've created in some digital art. It would be altered. From what I heard most Daz products are okay with this but some user products aren't.
How do I see what rights I would get on the sales page of an item? I have looked and looked and I see nothing, and I'm certainly not buying things in the hope the rights will allow me to use them as elements of my work. There must be a way to know in advance....or I'm completely confused about the whole thing.
Cheers,
Colin

Anything sold in the DAZ store here is covered by the EULA. You can create renders or animations, but you cannot include the mesh objeects, in say a game, unless you have the Game Developers licence. Here is the EULA : http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/eula/start
Products sole here are covered by the EULA, no matter who makes and sells them.
The only item I am aware of that has additonal restrictions not in the EULA is the Anne Marie Goddad Digital Clone for Victoria 3, which notes the additions on the product page.
