How does one add a magnet tool to a random article of clothing?

I normally use dynamics for the very thing that is bothering me right nor, but in this scene, I am trying to force a pair of pants to bend correctly with my figure and am having a hard time at the knee. The pants don't have a lot of morph options. I have a little experience with deformers, but nowhere near proficient at it. How hard is it to create a magnet tool over the pants with those movement arrows so I can adjust what I want where I want it?.

I dont' know anything about magnets, but with some (most?) of the conforming clothes, you can select the corresponding bone and go into parameters and make adjustments. In your case, select the shin bone.
I hope this helps.
And if there is a way to add a magnet tool to a random article of clothing, I'd be interested to learn that, too. Anyone?
I ended up having to make two deformers, one for the thigh and one for the shin to get the knee to bend right.
I have the total Hair Control tool and find that really useful on stubborn hair props, especially when I want to fit it under a hat or match the sideburns to a bearded character, where the beard isn't a figure but painted onto the character MAT. It would be really cool if I had a similar tool that will work on any article of clothes for those few times I still want to use a conforming article.
That sounds like a neat tool. I looked it up and found it was available on Rederosity. Unfortunately, a search on their site did not bring up the product. :(
Just as well. I'm broke after the PA Festival. lol
Here's the link to the hair tool. The promos don't give it justice. https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/totalhairctrl/69913
Thank you. (I think... lol)
I added it to my wishlist. I'll pick it up as soon as my wallet recovers!

I know ... lol ... I WAS kind of snickering to myself when I posted the link. I just spent a bushel myself and am trying to curb the spending, too.
LOL
