The original question was about missing POSER files. The file list URL posted by nDelphi does show that there are no Containers1 CR2 or PP2 files. So it is missing for Poser users. And for users of older versions of DAZ Studio.
Opps, thanks for the clarification. I should be more careful in the future so as not to muddle the comversation.
ok I have sent of a ticket to the help desk and the story so far is

ok what am I doing wrong here?
my reply
Hi
As I am using "POSER 2014" I don't use install manager.
As I have said. I do not have "install manager" on my PC
I have down loaded the zip file "Starship Astra Ps 196.58 MB "
after unzipping the file I have the following folders and files.
folder "IM00022325-02_StarshipAstraPs"
in this I have two files called
"Manifest.dsx"
and
"Supplement.dsx"
a folder called
"Content"
in the contents folder I have a folder called
"Runtime"
in this I have
"Geometries"
"Textures"
"Libraries"
in the Libraries folder I have two folders called
"materials"
"Character"
in the Character folder I have a folder called
"Starship Astra"
in this folder I have four files called
"Astra.cr2"
Astra.png"
"Containers2.cr2"
"Containers2.png"
As you can see I do not have files called
"Containers1.cr2"
"Containers1.png"
these are missing from the ZIP FILE
The "Containers1.obj"
is in the "Geometries" folder but not the
"Containers1.cr2"
"Containers1.png"
in the Character folder.
I hope this helps.
one last thing I am using POSER 2014 and do not have install manager

am i doing anything wrong here?
in there a way of contacting the maker direct and say hay some files are missing can you get it fixed?
Are you on a PC or Mac?
If you are on a PC use the DOS Command Prompt and navigate to the folder you extracted the files to and use this command:
dir /b /s >temp.txt
It will be easier to extract the files to a folder you create for this purpose, so you don't get anything else in the listing.
Send the file to support.
It just occurred to me that they want to know what was installed in your Runtime (or whether you copied all the files to your Runtime).
If you are on a PC you will need a better text reader, maybe you can download Notepad++ and read the Manifest file with it. Find out where the folders are in your Runtime from the Manifest file and then do the directory command I supplied. You will have several folders where the files will be installed to like the Libraries and Textures. The on you want is Astra folders under the Runtime\Libraries folder.
I hope I am not complicating things.
you can simply import the OBJ from the Geometries folder, then apply the materials from the library. Not ideal, but it works
It's a Daz Original, so it's down to us. I think Jen our PC QA would already be lookung at it, but I will forward this to her to double-check :)
good news, got another reply back from the help desk.

Ok its Containers 1 that is not in the package but they are looking into it.
( I have not put the persons name down from the help desk because I didnt ask them if it was OK )
yes I could do that, But I think there may be others thinking of getting this modeland they may want all of it to work out of the box. as do I.
thanks for all your comments above.
One last thing thanks to petipet for still supporting Poser. i know it is added work.
I have seen many makers drop Poser for DS and have seen many very good models in the market place that I would have got if they had been in poser format.
Has anyone heard anything more from Daz3D whether or not they are going to update this product with the missing Container 1 figure? Yes I can add the obj manually but the point is the missing item is paid for and should be there.
I found Containers1 in Props>Starship Astra
glad to say (as you can see from the above post)
its now fixed
