  • Version E bringing in a droid that I decided to treat myself today.  The droid is on the otherside of the car, and you might have to look closely to see it.  I kinda have to myself and I know about where it is.

    Emmy Scene Test 2

    Intermediate

Added a little light for eyes and changed angle of sword to negate the flatness.

Have added weapons and changed surfaces on dagger set. Tweaked the shirt and added geoshell for grime and tweaked the rocks.

Still contemplating that it needs much more. Nothing major added in and I am just suffering from lack of time and inspiration!

    Emmy Test Scene

    Will be Intermediate

Need to add something else. Not sure what yet!

I like this :) , maybe you can change  the blade of the sword to add some metallic shine so that a reflection or mirror is seen on the blade.

also it would also be great if her eyes weren't in shadow ?!

it's just my opinion and sorry for my bad English, I can't express myself exactly as I would like

Do you have any Metal Shaders you could use on the blade to make it shiny? Only if you want to. I like it. Nice job,

Thanks guys. Yes, I have a hatful of shaders. The sword itself looks shinier in the updated render (small copy below) but I need to work on my light angles to get it to pop. I like the image but am not convinced it's enough kitbashing to meet the criteria.

If the scene isn't too complex, you might get away with Caustics; it will make the metal pop a little more. It will slow the rendering time.

@Shinji Ikari 9th Thanks! I like doing this kind of stuff. Using products for not their intended purposes.

@Alias52 The first time I saw the bow, I immediately thought it would look awesome as the entryway. I'm glad you enjoyed the image.

In the Hall of the Dragon King

"I used the Dragon Hunt Weapons to create the majority of the scene. The bridge, bridge supports, and entrance are all weapons (staff, shield, bow... respectively). I had to do some major scaling and deformation to get the look the way I desired."

    composition by aprilshowers2065

    Make a Wish

"I used kitbashing to make the fountain, as well as the little girl's outfit."

    Rearming for a Stealth Mission

"This uses the Thor station as a rearming platform and a scaled-down spaceship modified to mount twin Gatling guns (Vulcan cannon) under each wing and a laser rotor on the top of each wing."

I also wanted to shout out this render by marconft6. While it wasn't chosen for the showcase--I felt that the artist's other entry, "In the Hall of the Dragon King," better embodied the theme of the contest--I thought this was a very effective composition and a clever use of various disparate products to make a cohesive scene.

    Intermediate Challenge

    Title:  Cyber Assassin

Normally, clients want something stealthy and secretive. This latest one wants big, bold, and public. Time for the Cyber Assassin to get to work.

(Items used.... a lot.... Callan HD, dForce Electro Hair, Noah Sci-fi Outfit, Space Pirate Outfit, Sci-Fi Punk Outfit, M.O.A.B. Missile Silo, Cyberpunk Coupe Car, Sci-fi Outpost, MMX Smoke Trails, Real Neon Signs)

No post work was done. I combined the Missile Silo and the Sci-fi Outpost to make up the majority of the scenery. This was a lot of fun to do.

    Success Uploading the file!!!
