Are there going to be any add-on packs for the Collective3d Create a Room Base Set? Seeing an empty room product labled as a "Base Set" gives off the implication that there's more for it in the pipeline.

I was tempted to buy it, but as it was missing what I would find useful, and with no idea when anything else, or what, will be released, I gave it a miss.
It doulbe posted and we can't delete.
There are a couple add ons in the works presently. The first is a collection of wall hangings -- painting and photo frames -- and will be shipping this week. The second will be a set of walls with various doors. Doors are more complicated than windows, generally, and didn't make the cut for the base set. I expect to be able to ship that in a week or so.
Monday I am starting back to work full time on the Blue Collar sets, but the plan is to do add ons for the Create A Room every couple weeks.
It's in the product description! :)
"Create A Room is also expandable. Future sets will provide additional walls (such as walls with doors), shortened walls for making non-square rooms, decor items, fixtures, wall hangings, coffered ceilings, and more!"
Oh... XD
Nice. Though, what I was looking for was more like funiture and the such (something like the Deco sets). Still, that's good to see that more wall variety in in the works.
Lots of furniture sets in the pipeline. Create A Room allows me to justify making pretty much anything around the house to use as decoration and props. Sky's the limit!
I have this in my cart and am getting ready to buy it. I was totally excited that this has NO additional items that load up. A room I can customize with the tons of props etc I already own. :) I love the concept.
That was the idea behind the set, kind of a blank slate. In a marketplace like Daz, with the audience here, environments can be kind of a hard sell, because the primary focus is on the characters, and the environment is so subjective. They need to be big enough to have enough utility, but not be so big as to be unwieldy, detailed enough to look nice and pretty in promos, but not too detailed, because the background is usually blurred by depth of field or hidden in shadow. I try to focus on utility. A nice empty room like this that you can fill with all the stuff you've already accumulated, which then also allows me to tailor my own sets of stuff to fill it with.
Hopefully it works out for everyone, and I can keep adding customization to it.
