About Magus?????

I just came across a free texture for Magus for V4 when a thought struck me.  I have that outfit in Daz for Genesis, came as part of the essentials package.  What I don't know is if the V4 textures work on the Genesis version of the outfit?  Does anyone know if they do.  Tried a search here and elsewhere to see if there was any answer but so far no luck.

Since the texture is free, why not just download it and see if it works?

Because I don't really like it.  However, there are plenty other textures (for sale) and would like to know before buying.

I'm pretty sure the UVs were unchanged.
