Using Windows 10, 4096 dedicated video ram... Worked until I switched to Radeon from NVIDIA. Loads to where it says power pose tools loaded then disappears.

Pls try: open File Browser and go to the directory: %AppData%\DAZ 3D\Studio4\, locate a file name 'dazstudio.dau'. Cut it to other folder or delete it, then open DS see if it works.
And you may attach the log file (in the same folder as above) down below.. we may check if there's any clue...
No problem I just reinstalled the Nvidia card and it opened. However now that I have seen what a total mess Studio has become. Nothing shows up in viewport like it should. Everytime you try to load something, it has to "phone home" first. The only thing seems platered all over it is genesis this, genisis that. Virtually nothing is under my own control now. So I think I'll pass on it. Only thing disappointing is all these year of investing $$ is now a total waste
DS doesn't have to phone home at all to load content. You have the option to install content directly from DS smart content tab when you log in, but that's not mandatory. You can also still install content manually or via DIM, and use the Content library tab which shows the actual folders and files rather than Smart Content tab relying on metadata.
And your old content should still work fine. It might not appear in Smart Content tab due to not having metadata but should be visible in Content library. If your content is not displayed in content library then there's something wrong in your settings.
If it's wanting to connect that means it isn't seeng the isntalled content - almost certainly a mis-match between where you isntalled and where DS has been told the files are. Fixing that requires knowing how you installed, and where, and what the DS content directory settings are.
I suspect that Richard. However I let DIM install it all (well except studio, for some reason it wont install it so I have to use Daz Central) Once it says all installed then the program is all over the place and the content is no where to be found. Although the folder where it normally installs is there. Leana, when I say phone home it won't let me work offline. I guess as Richard says the content is missing. So it connects to Daz (rather I want to or not) pop up keeps telling me log in as soons as I try to click on the content..oddly I do notice it is all in black and white where in the past they were in color. Sooo then at the bottom is claims it is installing what ever one I had clicked on, but when done there is nothing in the view window.. I might try to find someone with an older version I guess. As it seemed to always work fine in past releases. For the record I am using Windows 10 home..is that it maybe? If it is I can move up to pro easily. I have decent hardware.. Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 ti, 8 gb.. 64 gb onboard ram. cpu is ryzen 7 5700g 8 core..it's pretty much a new computer..I just upgraded ram and moved it back to win10 since it arrived with win11
Greyscale thumbnails mean not installed. Try downloading this script and dragging it into the Daz Studio Viewport, that should add the current DIM/Daz Central paths (which are the same) to DS, though you may then have nested content directories http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config_import/start
Once you have done that, if the thumbnails are in colour and you can load the content withouyt going online, open Edit>Preferences>Content tab, click Content Directory manager, and expand the Daz Studio and Poser options to show the paths currently beeing used, take a screenshot, and post it here.
