    I worked with a Russian fellow some years ago.  He taught me the bad words, which I've since pretty much forgotten.  I still remember spaisibo (my attempt at writing "thank you" phonetically).

    That reminds me of an Irish guy I met back in the day, who taught me some phrases in gaelic to say when I met his Mum.  Luckily she hit him, not me, as she realised that I had no idea what he had taught me to say. I never did find out what it meant.  and no it wasn't "póg mo thóin",  ("Pogue Mahone")

    Yeah, Google Translate is sometimes slightly better than opening a book and picking random words... I've seen some horrendous translations because google missed a key word... I'll still take it over nothing, but... Translation work is more art than science, IMO.

    I was talking Spam in particular, which isn't a sausage, but a cured ham-like product. Pepperoni is a sausage and is made from pork, although I'm sure there could be variations. I would have no idea what cuts, but if it is similar to when I made venison sausage, it would be the trimmings left over from removing the better, more desirable cuts, tough cuts, etc. Possibly some of the facial muscles like the cheek muscles, etc. Nothing particularly gross like lips and anuses.

    Blame GoogleTranslate.  If I had tried to form that sentence myself I would have done much worse. I might have gotten "horse" and "cat" but not their plurals.

    (also interesting that when quoted in these forums there are several character substitutions!)
