Visibility Bug in the Viewport?

So I have a torus grouped and when I change the visibility of the group only half of the torus will become invisible.
Description of the image below:
The scene contains a torus and a sphere, the torus emmits light which lands on the sphere. But since the torus is made invisible, there should not be any light.

The problem is on the viewport, no matter if I look at it through the camera or the perspective view.
If I render through the camera the torus does not emmit any light and the sphere is not light.
If I change the visibility of the torus itself, it disappears and does not emmit any light.
So the problem only happens when the visibility of the group changes.
Edit: I forgot to write that I only happens in the NVIDIA Iray drawstyle.
