I have very little experience with Iray, but I was wondering how much of this product could be used with just 3Delight?  Do you have to use the actual light part of the props (are they lights by default when loaded), or is it something I could skip and just use the studio props on their own, perhaps inserting regular lights into the props?

With the new Reality coming out I'm not too motivated to delve into Iray, but I read you can use the Iray textures with Reality, so they may not be a complete waste for me.

    All the props will work (as props) in 3Delight. 3Delight doesn't read the (Iray Uber) area light version of the lights as a light source at all. It will read the Photometric based versions as a light source but the results your going to get from them in 3Delights is going to be very different than what they were designed to look like.

    Can the Photometric lights be turned off?  I'm not too sure what those are.
