Material ID not working with Genesis 9?

I use the material ID setting which allows to give each material a specific color in the scene. This is mostly usefull for post processing as all the elements can easily be separate based on the color. But with Genesis 9 it ignores the material ID setting and outputs always black. Does the new PBRSkin not support this anymore? The setting is there in the material but it looks like it does nothing.
