So what do you guys think? Looks like we might see a first returning figure soon. I just hope she will have a more realistic look than Josie 6 who really is way too doll-like.
Yep, pretty much a dead giveaway. I sure hope they don't release her close to the G3 Male. This is getting ridiculous, almost like they want to sabatage sales. We're not endless money pits. Hopefully they'll space out those two release dates.
I really really really hope M7 comes first but something is telling me Josie is just around the corner if the PAs already have her.
Maybe they plan to include her in the 40% off sale since teen figures might not be as popular as adult women. I am certainly no big fan of any of the teen figures they have released so far.

I think the body shape will be fine but Im worried about the face, I just hope it will be more realistic than the huge eyed doll that was Josie 6.

No problem! By the way, if you guys want to do any manual comparisons between all the FBMs, you'll have to download and do so yourselves as these new image functions aren't exactly like the previous ones.
i downloaded Base and compared to Josie that was all I needed. Let's hope for some angsty expressions!
Yeh the eyes were a little weird but easy to fix.
Now Daz is going to have to take down this thread for maintenance.

Included to say it's a Genesis 2 figure since she's soo toony. But I have no clue. The product page doesn't say what was used.
I wouldn't hate Josie like that, cause I like toons and we could use some for G3F. But most people would be upset if Josie got even bigger eyes than prior generation. I think.
Yeah as long as she is being marketed as a realistic teen figure, they should really try to make her look realistic.
I get the feeling we´ll get toons sooner or later though : )
We have no idea what she is going to be marketed as. So it's all speculation right now. All we know is she's more petite than the other gals so far but we don't know what her head is shaped like. I don't think that is Josie, but I've been wrong...
Last gen we had Girl already, I think girl was second shape. This time we got 3 realistic shapes and 1 hybrid shape already. Still no toons. Considering how many they cranked out at the end of G2F life, I would have thought stylized characters did OK. I could see the Girl getting long in the tooth though. She's never been a fave of mine (but small bits did get used occasionally).
I wanna toon already :( I've been mixing in Hitomi from G1 for now. But wouldn't mind something fresh.
Josie doesn't look realistic to me. I've never cared for the character. We need a genesis 3 male not more females...
It it is a bummer they are releasing so many female figures before releasing even basic male for genesis 3.
Teen Josie 6 looked petit, but not particularly young; by that I mean not so much younger than the other 3d modles that were supposed to represent adults.
A few days ago I was in a group photograph for something I volunteer with; fourteen of us, with eleven being female; all but one of the women was shorter than the not very tall eleven year old girl who happened to be there.
Short/petit does not mean young, a favourite way it appears for Daz to denote age.
I think face, and the voice are two big indicators, but even those can be misleading.
Josie did look a lot more youthful that Stephanie and Vicky...she was a late teen not a preteen. Belle was the somewhat younger teen.
Thing with digital gals, and even real people is there is a huge range of ages they could actually be. If you only compare the Daz flagship figures to each other they represent age groups OK. If you start comparing them to 3rd party characters it gets confusing due to style differences.
Short is a favorite way for any artist to portray age. There's a trope called "Teens are Short" (I won't link to TV tropes. I'm not that cruel) that explains why when they cast young adults as teenagers or kids in a part, they deliberately cast short ones because we'll read that as younger.
Personally, I know perfectly well that age does not neccisarily limit height. I used to tease the kids at Church that I wouldn't believe they were teenagers until they were taller than my 5' tall self.
I opted not to say this originally, but the Daz females aren't even short. The teens are still as tall as adult Mei Lin... Daz heights skew tall. Why no 4'11" girlies? Vertical discrimination?
Dang it, I remembered why I didn't say anything. They are MODELS, of course they are all tall...
Yes, new toons, using all potential in expressions and poses that is supposed can be achieve with 7th generation and girls+boys in each type of stylized.
I am eager to try expressions on toons with the new bones. Been saying that for months. *crosses fingers* I've had some minor success with toons on G3, but due to those new bones I think a native morph would help me a good bit.

I suspect it's the Keiko morph with a more realistic skin, actually. Not curvy (or 'Toony) enough to be Callie. and I don't think it's Aiko.
JOdel, wha. Keiko and Callie are both equally toony! Thought Callie was far more curvy. That much I agree.
Lets put them all in a pot and see what comes out.

I nearly got Skyler for G3 but don't have the head and body morphs (another 28$). Opted for the G2 version instead. Unfortunately as this is the PA not DO sale, we won't see a good discount on those for a while.

I've noticed sometimes you can get hints at what a new character release is going to be by the flash sales and fast grab sale section currently in fast grab is Aiko 6, Gia 6, Stephanie 6, The Girl 6 and Teen Jayden 6 so that may be hinting that the next G2 male will be another teen as they mentioned there would be another g2 male before michael 7 and they have two G2 Teen girls, and Aiko, the Girl and Stephanie are besides Victoria their main flagship characters and maybe Gia will become their athlectic mainstay lady though Olympia has been hinted at too. Aiko is a cross between toon/anima and real and the Girl is the main toon girl so maybe that character in Sunny's Tails is a hint at one of those two. Like I said whenever they've released a new character they seem to have older characters related/connected in some way like previous generation in the sales
Aiko is far from realistic. She's just not styled like classic Manga girls, she's more like modern Japanese game figures. Her eyes are still huge, and her figure well beyond simply "idealized", she's firmly stylized. She's more on the sexy side than cute nowadays. Girl is more western styled toon. Though, that is an overly simpistic grouping..but I think you get the idea.
