Pose library not working

I have tried contacting Daz Help twice now but I get no reply. My pose library is crashing Daz. When I choose a pose from the G8 or G9 libraries Studio freezes and I have to restart my pc. Can anyone help? Would a reinstall fix this? I really don't want to do this but it may be the answer. My pc was having issues and needed to be wiped clean, so I copied the daz library from C drive onto a hard drive so I wouldnt lose all my data...this may be the issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really, really don't want to reinstall everything again.

Not something I have heard about happening before so I think more info is needed.
What view mode are you using? Is it any pose that is causing the crash or just some from a certain vendor/product etc. Can you pose manually OK, either by playing with the parameters or dragging limbs around? Does it crash immediately or just after the figure is posed?
Are you running the latest version of Daz Studio? What OS version are you running and what is the graphics driver version too.
Is there anything in the logs just before the crash? If you can attach the log to the post it may help someone spot what is going wrong.
What was the nature of the "PC issues" you were having? If that was anything relating to hard-drive problems then you may have some corrupt/truncated files which are tripping up Daz Studio.
What do you mean by choose - is the freeze happening when you open the container to see the pose, when you select the pose file, or when you try to open it?
