Amisi Genesis 3 Render Problems

I bought Amisi for Genesis 3 today. When I try to render her, the areas around the eyes are black. I used the Iray mats with the Iray engine. I thought maybe it was the eyeliner, so I tried just the plain figure, but still got the same result. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Can you give us a spot render showing the difficulty?

Is it possiblr that the eyelashes are missing their transmaps?

Hey Bryan, can you post a render?  Or were you able to work this out?

The 1st image is a 3dlight renderw w/3dlight mats, the second is Iray w/Iray mats.

The transmaps are off on the eyelashes. Get them put back in and see if that corrects the darkness in the eye shaders.

That, and chaeck and make sure there's an Iray shader on default templates five through eight (Eye surfaces, eyelashes, and eye moisture in that order).

It's happened a time or two with me; it seems to be on the arms, and has so far always been the second "Eva7ArmsMapS_1004" not selected under Top Coat Weight, it's the last of the places where a texture is placed for me at any rate.

    EDIT:

I found it by comparriing what was on the torso; no idea if the same will work for the face.

DarkSpartan, how do I "put the transmaps back in"? I'm kind of new at this and don't know what you are talking about.

Weird. Ds does some strange stuff on occasion.  Amisi can put alot of strain on a computer because of the LIE.  You should try checking the simplest of stuff first.  Have you tried restarting Studio and your computer? It looks to me as though the cutout opacity for all the areas DarkSpartan mentioned are not set correctly.. which is really strange.

I restarted 3 times. I was thinking about uninstalling her and then reinstalling and see what happens?

My computer is a 2 month old Dell XPS I7 with 24gb ram and Invidea 4gb video card.

With Iray maps, she looked bad in the viewport. That's what prompted me to try a quick, no background render.

Hmm.. that is really odd. Yeah I would try reinstalling her.. and see what that accomplishes first.  Im sending you a site mail :)

On the surfaces tab to the right, if you expand the Default Templates (click the arrow), and click Default Template 7. There should be pictures in two of the slots, one of which is "Opacity" or somthing similar. If not, click the down arrow and scroll up to the top entry, marked "browse."

In the folder that should open, there should be an image that looks like white eyelashes on a black background. Click that, and go back to the viewport.

If it's right, then problem solved. If not, best to put in a ticket for tech support.
