"Install plugin" button not working in Daz to C4D Bridge

I installed the bridge in Daz, got into the menu, clicked "Install plugin", pointed to C/Documents/Cinema/plugisns, got a message that the plugin was successfully installed, opened it to blue and saw that nothing had changed. The plugin just wasn't added in Cinema. The folder where the plugin was installed is empty. I tried to reinstall the bridge both through Daz Central and through DIM, tried to install it manually, but to no avail. The plugin simply does not upload files to the Cinema folder. Please help me to solve this problem.

    Where did you tell it to install?

    hello workzetri, if you have a new version of C4D (21-22-23)you have to go to Cinema 4D - préferences - Plugins .....
    and to  add the path to the plugins
    after restart C4D and you have the plugin installed
    you can find tuto on youtube to install plugin on new version of C4D

    Personally, I've never needed to add the plugins directory to my C4D preferences, and when a plugin wasn't working, adding the directory didn't fix it.
