Eyebrows

Y'all. I need help with my eyebrows.

Kidding aside. I use primarily 8.1 models right now for projects and renders and I'm a big fan. But, one consistent issue that I have is that a lot of models only come with a single eyebrow color material. Usually dark. Sometimes very dark. 

This makes is complicated to turn those characters into blondes or redheads, etc. 

Maybe my store skills are weak but I haven't really found great options for replacing/modifiying eyebrows the way I can for most other body parts. And most of the eyebrow attachments on models don't seem to be very cross compatible between models... ending up looking quite strange if you attempt to swap them.

I've also attempted to mess with the surfaces tab for eyebrows to change colors, etc. but have not had promising results.

I'd love to know how others get around this.
