Just saying. I bought this great priced package this morning and am so satisfied with the product I just had to say many thumbs up and a big
to SickleYield
I have two other packages that are designed to do the same thing but they just became obsolete IMHO

It's 50% Fuseling's work, and now her name is on it (there was an error this morning that was my fault). Thank you though! We really had fun making it. :)
its a great package i like it as well :-).
Indeed, it looks fantastic! Does someone know if it also works with V7 genitals ?
Unfortunately, not out of the box and I'm quite dissapointed by that, as I really like the shaders. You can still copy over the surface and replace maps, that works. But it's extra work.
Actually there's no real reason it shouldn't work out of the box, but I guess it's checking the surface names in order to apply the shaders and it's simply not checking for the gens for whatever reasons. :(
Any chance one can complement the presets by the gen surfaces? Or can I make an own preset and store it along with the others of that set (though it's quite some one-time work?)
Nice set btw, I was only able to check the basic scatter one, which really improved the skin. Have some more tests rendering right now and can't wait to see the result when I return home. :)
Ah and a heads up: Something might mess up the maps when you load a preset (mapless one in my case) - If you notice seems in your render, DAZ probably mixed up some of your maps. Watch out for the glossy map and check that there's not something like a torso map on e.g. the arms.
This is not specific to this product, as far as I've understood, but more of a general DAZ problem which might occur, but most of the time it does not. So, there's nothing wrong with this pack, but you might think so when you experience it for the first time - took me a while to figure out what's wrong. ;)
Great to hear, fully intend to pick them up as soon as the store fixes itself!!
There is a very good reason: it's nearly impossible to make maps for the gens seamless with the body (possible exception for owners of Modo), and this product is 100% dependant on its custom maps for the translucency, the specular, the top coat, etc. (which is why it has two sets for the two different UVs). You can put the mapless presets onto the gens, and we could've done that, but that's only a quarter of the product's functionality.
This is why not all character sets for G3F have textures for the female gens either.
Yeh Ilike it; it seems to be a case of just clicking the buttons too. I'm glad as it's my first purchase of this type.
Took me a while to respond, I got stuck in a render of doom which blocked my pc and I'm not online when using windows, so I could not respond earlier.
Sorry, no offense, really. I sometimes fail to express the things I want to say, in a way that can not be taken as an offense.
I was refering to the mapless version of course, because, like you said, without maps those presets don't make any sense for usage with genitalia.

Why there are no maps or why it seems so difficult to create them, where it is not impossible as my library shows, is a different topic. I've read about it and I hope there's a solution to it soon, because, if I may say so, consider products as incomplete without maps for the gens, as it is limiting.
Now, as for the mapless presets, I had quite some time to look at them during my render and thankfully they were not compressed.
Thing is, in the end they are only missing some blocks to apply the shaders to the genitalia as well.
I made up a quick PHP CLI script to complement them, copying the torso blocks, replacing "Torso" with "Genitalia", which is the surface name of the default DAZ V7 gen, and inserting them after the appropriate torso blocks.
I also, since I really had lots of time on my hands during that render, made an almost completed standalone HTML5 version out of it, but I struggle with providing the modified files back without using a library to zip 'em up (it's just tedious when you need to save them all one by one), which in turn would make the code somewhat confuscated or load the library from external, which in turn could make people think I upload the shaders somewhere, which I don't, of course - the processing is done in javascript, solely in the browser, without up/downloading anything.
If I'm allowed to, I can provide the scripts, single or both, somewhere, so others can add the gen surfaces to the mapless full-body presets, without doing it by hand.
It's still a cool product, don't get me wrong, please. It's just that I should not have needed to do this.
