Is there a way to stop Genesis 2 from loading character files automatically?

I'm using Poser, but I don't want to have a non-working genesis because I like a skin but not the character...

Is there any way to have them not load automatically? Is there a file I can delete to load the skin but not the shape?

That said the majority of genesis products I download that load with it seem to be from the DAZ site.

What about Renderosity?

I know I have Sapphira but I don't think it loads with G2F.

I can't check rn because I'm in the middle of a render..

    There should be a G2 base figure in your content library.  It will load without skin or shapes.  Then, just load whatever character MATs you want, and voila.

    Why load the character? Just load up the material then. I never load characters myself. But if the character doesn't have a material option, in Daz Studio there is a way to load just the materials. Not sure about poser. In daz we can shift click to load, and it opens a dialog box where we can pick which options to use.

    I have two versions, and both load with the shapes?

    Two versions of what? G2F? G2F should just load the stock shape and nothing else.

    I have g2f and g2m in my poser runtime

    and in a separate DAZ 3D Library runtime (which I copied from the other computer)

    I have another daz 3d library runtime for the new install for this computer.

    I loaded that into my runtime directory even though I don't usually need to use it because I only use DAZ to convert things.

    This is a freshly downloaded G2M. I loaded 'Gensis 2 Female' from the Daz People category

    it seems like as long as I have the runtimes that have the characters in them in my library, they will load with G2M nomatter what.

    G2M is Genesis 2 Male. What you loaded is Genesis 2 Female (G2F). They are two different characters.

    The dials you are seeing are morphs for different "people" which you bought for G2F.

    sorry, i made a typo

    i know i loaded g2f

    but what I'm asking is is there any way to disable genesis from loading all those characters?

    like is there any files I can delete?

    or at least move out until i want to use them?

    AAAAH, yes you can do that! Now I get it. Not certain about on poser, but there are Data files for each of those morphs. you can move them out of the folder and they won't load. 

    For example, we want to get rid of Aiko 6, this is her path. Move that folder out of teh way.

    \data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 2\Female\Morphs\DAZ 3D\Aiko 6
