cannot seem to install anything manually

So when I try to install things manually which I have purchased from other websites I do the routine and put the runtime folder in: 'Daz3D/studio/mylibrary'runtime
It does not appear to be in my content list when I start daz and yes I have tried restarting it also.
Is it something I am doing wrong? this is still the right directory right? I am confused.

Where are you looking? You need to look under Poser Formats/DAZ Studio Formats in the Content Library pane. Also, many freebies have "extra" folders - it's the Data, Runtime and others at that level in the zip that go in the My Library folder.
