why won't M4 move?

So i installed M4 (old model I know but I wanted to use him for something) and all his elite+++ and stuff. He loads up fine but when it comes to actually bieng able to move his limbs and such via clicking on his arm for example it will just not move at all when I move the mouse curser on it. This is strange also as I was using Daz4 last week and had this exact same problem but another time he was working fine. I don't get it at all. Help anyone?

    What tool do you have selected (main menubar > Tools)?  It sounds like you want to use ActivePose.

    Yeh I got it now I know the mistake I made- the universal tool was not selected. I got this. Thanks.

    old models are good, I still use just M4 and V4.2
