Is there a way to contact vendors to ask specific questions about their products?

I'm not sure, but what I've done is put in a support ticket and they were kind enough to contact the vendor for me.

Mostly, if you see them post in the forums, hit 'em up.. if you don't....you don't.

The various ad threads are good places to check...or search for the product you have a question about.

AntFarm, Jack Tomlin, Sickleyield, RawArt, Mec4D and a bunch of others are very frequent denizens of the forums...(yeah, I know, I'm leaving a bunch of regulars off the list...but those names were the first ones to pop into my head).

I'd like to contact outoftouch. Does anyone know how to get a hold of them? I've tried sending a PM, but I don't know their username, and I don't know how to search for them, either. I found them on Renderosity and sent them a message, but I'd prefer to talk to them here because this is where I purchased their product.

PMs usually work,  you can also try to find their forum threads for their products in the "Commerical" section.

Usually we don't care which site you contact us at.  Daz3d has messaging setup so you can always go there and send us a PM. (here is a link: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/messages/all) You can hunt for our names in the list. As PAs, you already know our names.

I've tried that.  Maybe there's a glitch in the system; when I try to send the message, I get an error message: "ValidateOneOrMoreArrayItemRequired". I also can't find the button to open the list anymore. The last time I wanted to send a PM was in June; before the site changed.

When you start typing the name it should pop up.  I was PMing Orestes and his PA name had a space (and gave me the same error) , but the Forum name that popped up didn't.  So just double check and grab the name from the list as it shows there.  :)
