.FBX import

I have a model that I am trying to import into DS via the .FBX format and it never works. I have tried other models in the past with the same results. Has anyone gotten this to work on import or is there something I can do in another app to get this format to work with DS?

    i have never gotten fbx import to work right for anything either. So if people know of some trick I would also like to read it.
