If so, how do you use the props that come with it? There are three planes: dry, damp and water. And a foot puddles. I've added them to the scene and looked in iRay preview but I don't see anything. Is it possible that they don't show up until you render?

I think theya re probably using Iray matte so they catch sahdows and reflections but otherwise show the HDRI, allowing you to have suitable response to your models overlaid on the "backplate". If  so then they certainly wouldn't show correctly without previewing or rendering in Iray.

I have the props and use them with other HDRI's as well. The planes are invisible and serve to put the character on the ground of the HDRI. I use the damp one for beach HDRIs, too.

The puddles don't work on the grass but in the street scenes.
