I wrote a Daz script that converts a collection of images (in a folder) into a Slideshow Video with the help of FFMPEG.

That script named mcjSlideShowVideoMaker will be posted later. WAS POSTED

mcjSlideShowVideoMaker accepts frame/layouts, but the frame/layouts have to follow a standard that I developed ... so ...

... so ... I wrote mcjFrameMaker which lets you create those standard  frame-layouts.

Then I added the option of mounting images right in mcjFrameMaker.

    if i did it correctly, on the first run, you click the [Create Frame] button and bam you got a frame

    Oct 29th evening ( the first version ) had a strange bug wherein the dimension of the background image was de-centering the Bottom and Top Texts of the frames

    Oct 30th morning's version solved this by using the image.smoothScale() function instead of the image.Scale() function. Also, I repaired the [clear image list] functionality

    here's an example of the before/after debugging.

    It's as if the image.drawText function was working according to the metrics of the loaded images even if it was presented with the resized image.

    maybe the imageManager was involved in the issue

    it uses ffmpeg, but one issue is that it seems to load each image of the slideshow in RAM

    then overlays them to make the crossfading effect, I recently saw that we have scripting-access to the video-encoder used by daz studio.

    but it's .avi-only and I prefer ffmpeg with its large set of mp4 codecs. maybe the best would be to generate the 2500 images of a 100 seconds slideshow 

    in Daz Studio, which can mix 2 images for the crossfading segments, and feed them one by one to ffmpeg through some "stream" input

    Very cool. Thanks this will be great for making videos of our artwork collection or as you have shown when coupled with AI generators to produce music videos. Very cool.

    Cant say when but eventually mcjFrameMaker will be able to create/use layouts with image/cells of different dimensions ( for now of dimension 1,2,3,4... )

    The second layout in the table has a layout described like this:

    [ 2011 ]

    [ 0020 ]

    [ 1100 ]

    The third layout in the table has a layout described like this:

    [ 3001 ]

    [ 0001 ]

    [ 0001 ]

    you could say that first layout is the only one that mcjFrameMaker can use for now

    mcjFrameMaker V2 for Daz Studio... is coming out this weekend i suppose

    i'll possibly merge it with mcjSlideShowVideoMaker

    what's new:
    - variable image-cell-sized layouts
    - subtitles over picture-cells
    - subtitles above image-cells
    - sibtitles under image-cells
    - paragraphs of text on plain or textured backdrop

    mcjFrameMaker and mcjSlideShowVideoMaker News

    this here shows that i found a way to present users of the next version of those scripts (they may be merged into mcjVideoMaker)

    ... with the complete set of possible and sane layouts for a given grid

    in this case a 3x2 grid

    there were 128 combinations of the 7 walls, and only those made sense

    and here's a recent video made with mcjFrameMaker and mcjSlideShowVideoMaker

    and this one which is less scary (for people scared of ghost pics )

    If you use it please post an image here so I know that someone other than me was able to use it

    FrameMaker doesn't need ffmpeg so it's easier to get running

    SlideShowMaker needs ffmpeg for video making, but it can also mass-frame pictures without it
