1940s "Agent Carter" style hair?

I need to create a Golden Age "Mystery Man" (aka a superhero) for a commission... and I'm having a devil of a time finding the right hair for a female hero.

A few weeks ago, didn't I see a 1940s style hair that was similar to what was worn by the lead character in the TV show, AGENT CARTER?  I've spent about 30 minutes trying to find it. I have found a few other cool things (including this awesome SANDY HAIR: http://www.daz3d.com/sandy-hair which I picked up), but not the hair I think I remember. Does anyone remember this hair and can you send me a link? Or was it at some other site?

BTW: I'm actually working with V3 (I think she has the best supehero body of all the figures, and the low poly count will help me load her in complex scenes with multiple figures), but I'll take the hair for any figure. I can always fit it to her reasonably well (or, if it's really great, switch figures -- I've just started the project so it would be easy to change if I need to).

Veronica, Betty or Marisandra hair, also by Aprilysh might also work

I think there are a couple at the rendo store too

Check out 50s Hollywood Hair at Rendo. Thats the closest i've seen to her normal hairstyle.

  • Thanks for the tips, guys! I will follow up on them. I particularly like the Harlow hair...

Probably going with the Sandy hair for the Golden Age character, but some of the other characters could definitely benefit from these styles.

You might have seen 1940's Hair by Propschick/RPublishing, which has been running in the rotating banner ads for Renderosity for the last few weeks.  Another hair at DAZ that hasn't been mentioned yet is Emma & Jordi's Violet hair, which has the same kind of "Rosie the Riveter" vibe.

  • Thanks for the tip about Violet hair. I've moved it to my Wishlist for later use.

Same for the 1940's Updo. That might fit very well into some scenes I have in mind.
